The world of a 18 month old....

Although the adventure days have been dicontinued, Halina has keep me in awe with the little things:
  • She attempts to hold the railing while going down the stairs, and gets even more excited to do so while she's going up the stairs.
  • She always has a clear agenda at the pool - baby pool for a few minutes, then the big pool for bubble blowing, dipping head head back to dunk her hair, and climbing out and jumping back in after saying: "on...twa.. ..." all ahile holding one finger up and grinning ear to ear.
  • She feeds her stuffed animals food, whenever possible.
  • She now runs out of my arms at daycare - much better than the clinging and crying I usually get.
  • Her favorite books are the ones that go along with songs.
  • She knows how to pick and eat the ripe "black"berries from the bush in our drive and the "orange-red" tomatos from the garden.
