The horse stables on the way home from day care were a huge hit with Halina, only two days from her becoming a big sister. I've been given a induction date of Thursday Sept 3rd and I'm happily teaching through Wednesday....Halina is aware something is about to change, although the past week or so she has really enjoyed a little extra time and attention from her Dad. Tonight before going to bed she held my belly a while, smiled and giggled.
Halina smiles a lot and doles out her smiles generously to every friendly stranger who pays her attention. We've had a great weekend together as a family. Saturday was spent at the library and then downtown Silver Springs for the live music and Sunday we ate breakfast out for the first time all summer and then walked around the Georgetown canal and waterfront.
