And the snow keeps coming...

Playing at our neighbors house - they built really cool tunnels!
Our Neighborhood

Sligo Creek
Our neighborhood never looked so serene
Emily & I on a snow shoe adventure
Caroline's 1st bath - she doesn't look too happy here, but she normally loves bath time
Halina has been enjoying bathtime more lately, as is evident here
At bath time Mr. Potato head is very popular
Potty time? Halina's gift from us might have been a tad premature, this pic was just before she tried sitting on the very miniature potty
Halina helped add cheese to our homemade pizza
Sisters
Caroline ran a fever a couple of days
But, she recovered : )

So, it snowed on the day of Halina's Birthday party, and the Wednesday after Halina's B-day it snow again and we had a day off of school. Then the BIG storm hit, and it snowed from Friday morning until Saturday evening 27" total. Now, Tuesday, it's snowing again and supposed to bring another 12-20 inches!!! We're off this entire week from school..

Lessons learned:
1. The snow can be beautiful, check out the pictures below from a Sat. afternoon adventure snow shoeing with Emily.
2. Be prepared for loosing power: Lauren didn't have power for about 36 hours! Brrr... Time to stock up on candles and matches and batteries
3. BUY A SLED - we still don't have one : (
4. Be prepared for the real storm to come: a toddler stuck indoors - I've brought home boxes, and have been doing projects galore!
