HELPFUL WEBSITE for ALL guests:
USUHS has a commencement website with lots of good info for families:
http://www.usuhs.mil/
choose then"Students" drop down at the top of the page. The second tab is Commencement.

Friday is USU Day: between 1000AM until 2:00PM (roughly). Please start getting a count and names of who will be attending this event. It will include tours, a showing of Fighting for Life and a one hour block of mini-lectures providing families a little insight into our experiences here. We will need names eventually in order to get everyone base access and to make sure we have enough folks helping with the tours.
This event will end with plenty of time for families to make their ways to the Zoo (recommended that they use the NIH metro stop).
The reception will begin at 6:00PM on the 20th of May (Friday), at the National Zoo Great Cats Exhibit.
Graduation Reception, Friday evening at the National Zoo:
We have tickets for Grace, Owen, Sylwester, Anna, Joanne, Elaine, Magda, & Chan
-Dinner and drinks will be provided. Catering from Rocklands BBQ will include a varied menu to include grilled salmon, beef brisket and pulled bbq chicken with an assortment of sides. The food is excellent! Drinks will include water, soda, beer and some wine. The final menu will be published after we have collected all sales from tickets and we have a final guest count. We will be taking a count of vegetarian guests and attempting to accommodate them with a purely vegetarian entrée.
-The event is casual, so attire will be whatever is comfortable for you and your guests.
